We’re continuing with the development

Hello everyone!

Lately, I’ve been working on other projects and exploring different styles for Love's Heart, even considering a remake, in order to make my work easier and hopefully earn more money from the game. The remake is definitely moving forward, and I’ll be sharing updates about it in the future. But I wanted to make this post to let you all know once again that the development of the Love's Heart you all know is also continuing. Right now, none of my games are in quarantine, but I don’t know if they’ll be put back into quarantine if I make any changes, and I’m honestly afraid to find out. In any case, I’ll keep working on the game as best as I can. After all, even though it can’t be on Steam (which was a hard blow), it’s still the game that gives me the most visibility, grows my community, brings in more followers on Patreon, and generates sales through the early access version, so it still ends up bringing me income. I’m planning to use that money someday to replace the VRoid art I make myself with anime-style art, because I believe that would really improve the quality of the game—just like I did with the cover. But that change will come in the future. Right now, my goal is to keep working on the game to finish Chapter 5. Once Chapter 5 is done, the game will be halfway through its development. Then I’ll have to decide whether to jump straight into Chapter 6 or take some time to go back through the first five chapters to fix bugs, add new content, improve illustrations, start using anime-style art, and polish the game overall. I’m not sure yet—I’ll need to think it through.

This post was just to say that, to apologize for how long it’s taking to release a new update, and to reassure you that I’m going to keep working on the game. I’ll try to work on it every day and keep you updated on my progress. If I can’t publish new updates on itch.io because the game might be quarantined again, I’ll post the updates on my Patreon—both free and paid—and notify you through posts on itch.io.
