Weekly devlog 12

Hello everyone!

Wow, it's been a while since the last devlog! Sorry for the delay.

As I mentioned before, I intend to publish Love's Heart on Steam. Unfortunately, since I announced that 11 days ago, Steam still hasn't approved the game build I submitted. I'm worried that Steam might actually reject it and not allow me to publish the game. If that happens, I at least hope they give me a reason — that would help me make the necessary changes to make the game acceptable for Steam. If they reject it without any explanation, there’s nothing I can do. But let’s try not to be negative! Steam has already approved the store page, which is great news, so that’s something. Let’s hope the build gets approved too.

Regarding the game’s development, I’ve been working on it these past days. I fixed some bugs and added a few things to Day 2 of Chapter 5, which is the chapter I'm currently working on. I had already completed the first activity of the day, and now I needed to work on the second one. This activity consists of:

A cooking contest!

If you’re on Mayuri’s team or Mia’s team, you’ll be participating in the contest. If you’re on Asuka’s team or Onpu’s team, you’ll be part of the jury and will have to decide which team cooked better. Don’t worry, on the third day, the roles will be reversed, so you’ll still get to experience both sides.

If you're competing, you’ll need to follow the instructions to the letter to prepare a delicious recipe that will please the jury. The more mistakes you make, the lower your final score will be — so be careful!

If you're a judge, you’ll get to rate the dishes made by the other teams from 1 to 10. Haruna will have her own opinion about the taste, but the final decision is yours, of course. You can score them fairly… or give them a 10 or a 0 depending on which team you like better, haha.

Besides this, I’m also coming up with ideas for activities and events for the following days, as well as the nighttime gameplay, where you can build intimacy with the girls depending on your choices. So, I’d say development is going well. Hopefully, this time I’ll be able to release the new update soon.
